Cancellation by Himalayasgriffon
While cancellations are extremely rare, unforeseen circumstances may require us to cancel a trek before its scheduled departure. These circumstances include, but are not limited to, continuous rain or snow, thunderstorms, snowstorms, landslides, floods, earthquakes, or other natural calamities that pose a risk to trekkers’ safety. Additionally, events like local riots, curfews, pandemics, lockdowns, government orders, or similar situations may also result in cancellations.
In such cases, Himalayasgriffon will issue a voucher equivalent to the full trek amount, redeemable for any of our treks within one year from the cancellation date.
Important Note: The issuance of a voucher is not applicable if you are required to descend from the trek for reasons such as insufficient fitness, symptoms of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), high blood pressure, exceeding the turnaround time, health concerns, or violations of trek rules (e.g., smoking or drinking). In these cases, no voucher will be provided.
Trek Shifting Policy
At Himalayasgriffon, we acknowledge that weather conditions in high-altitude regions can be highly unpredictable, often changing without warning. In addition, certain circumstances beyond our control—such as natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or government-mandated lockdowns—may affect our ability to conduct a trek as planned. In such cases, we will make every effort to offer an alternative trek that is both safer and more suitable for the participants.
If a trek shift becomes necessary due to such uncontrollable factors, we will issue a voucher to cover any cost differences between the originally scheduled trek and the alternative trek. This voucher will be valid for one year from the date of issuance. Please note that cash refunds or reimbursement for the difference in cost will not be applicable under these circumstances.
Important Notes
• Trek batch changes are subject to seat availability in the desired batch.
• If transferring a trek to a friend, the transferee must meet all the mandatory requirements set forth by Himalayasgriffon.
• Himalayasgriffon reserves the right to amend or cancel policies without prior notice.
• Cash refunds are only applicable for bookings made without using promotional offers or vouchers.

Itinerary and Schedule Changes
